Way back in the Fall of 2013, Scream Factory excited the classic horror fans with the release of The Vincent Price Collection that brought six of his best films to Blu-ray. This turned out to be the first of three volumes that brought out the best transfers of his legendary Edgar Allen Poe films directed by Roger Corman and other fright fests from this era. Without too much of a warning, the boxset went out of print. This caused the resale value to soar. Currently someone wants nearly $500 for a copy on certain internet superstore. But before you give up a rent payment for The Fall of the House of Usher, Scream Factory has great news. They’re re-issuing the boxset this Fall. Now there will be a difference between the editions. The introductions Price recorded as part of the AIP films running on PBS have been removed. The same films are available in the re-issue along with a few new bonus features.
