DC Comics Universe and Legion Of Super-Heroes #6 Spoilers and Review follows.

Superboy Meets New Gold Lantern, But…

…What About Monster Boy and…

…Doctor Fate?!

Well the books with a look at Monster Boy as part of a broader LOSH crowd.

And’s it’s a different look than he had last issue (below plus spoilers for that issue here) or on the cover of this very issue; is he a shape-shifting Durlan? What about Chameleon Bot then? More to come it seems on Monster Boy, but not in this issue.

We do get a bit prominent exposure for new recruit Gold Lantern.

We see his powers at work to help Superman and Saturn Girl retrieve Aquaman’s trident.

I believe Dr. Fate makes an appearance at least here if you squint.

Anyhow, in the end, good guys win and Aquaman’s trident is in LOSH hands allowing New Earth to get its oceans back.

However, a United Federation of Planets civil war is teased.

However, I was expecting to learn more about all three new recruits from this issue’s solicitation.

However, a fun issue despite not living up to the promise in the solicit.

The Pulse:

Great art and interesting storyline. Nice seeing more of Gold Lantern, but wanted more of Dr. Fate and Monster Boy as promised. Entertaining nonetheless 7 out of 10.
