Step one of many. A page from my run on the X-Men from 1992. One of the few pages I inked myself. Also one of the few times that Prof X was clearly wrong. High bid by 6pm EST this Friday 6/12 wins this 11×17” piece of orig art. Show proof of donation after you win & I will match your donation to blacklivesmatter.com. Please, all bids should ONLY be placed in my original tweet on Twitter.com/jimlee. Thank you all and thanks to Gail Simone for starting this initiative. Obviously, I have held up my fundraising activity for comic shops during this pandemic. That will resume when appropriate. I’ve spent the week listening and learning and hope to take additional steps to raise money for all the causes near and dear to my heart. Stay safe everyone!

The key revelation is in the last post above:

Jim Lee looks to expand his art auctions to other causes as well as comic book retailors struggling due to the pandemic.

Over 94 art auctions, by Jim Lee and friends, over $725K has been raised for struggling comic book stores. Jim Lee has 14 more art pieces to auction to meet his 60 art pieces commitment.
