Khonshu Powerplay, MULTIPLE Mephistos, A Starbrand Baby and…

…Avengers 1,000,000 BC All…

…In One Action-Packed Issue!

The book opens with Marvel 1,000,000 BC’s Moon Knight vs…

…the Avengers 1,000,000 BC.

We then pivot to modern day where Khonshu, Moon Knight’s deity, has essentially won.

He commands the Earth and even Thor’s Mjolner.

However, he has target on his back and front; a threat from pirate Mephisto emerges!

The Avengers tackle Khonshu’s forces and…

…they surrender allowing the Avengers to free their teammates.

Elsewhere, Captain Marvel and Iron Man continue to look after baby Starbrand and…

…eventually escape the Ghost Rider powered Moon Knight.

The book ends with Black Panther confronting Khonshu.

The Pulse:

I am enjoying this arc, but for some reason I don’t “feel” like Khonshu is a big threat despite the issue setting him to be that way. Don’t know why I can’t accept him as a worlds-threatening big bad. Decent art. Fun moments in the issue. 7 out of 10.
