She is angry and reveals herself; in striking her grandson the real Hulkling she knocks of his Inhibitor Mask…

…that she ends up with by his hand.

The Avengers fight on Earth and Thor…

Black Panther confronts the Swordsman who uses his son Quoi as a shield…

…stunning all including his son.

The Death Blossom and Swordsman are dispatched by the Black Panther with the star sword in a single thrust; Earth will not detonate.

The book ends with Quoi being a righteous and unrepentant eco-warrior…

…as Cotati surrender and…

The Kree / Skrull Alliance endures…

…for now, but this is not the end of Empyre.

The Pulse:

An action-packed end with ups and downs in flow and quality. Entertaining, generally yes, with solid art. Still a bit convoluted. 7 out of 10.
