Spoilers

DC Comics Universe and Superman #25 Spoilers and Review follows.

Superman’s Origin Rebooted A Bit As…

…New Villain Synmar Gets 55% Of The Pages…

…In Over-Sized Anniversary Issue!

Seventeen of this issue’s thirty-one pages of story are…

…all about the secret origin of Synmar and…

…his people who…

…were around when Krypton was destroyed and…

…they just watched Kal-el’s spaceship…

…rocket to Earth knowing…

…the affect the yellow sun would…

…have on the infant.

The book ends in modern day with Synmar ready to avenge his people…

…against Superman?!

The Pulse:

There were Superman and Lana Lang moments in the issue, but this was really Synmar’s issue. Great art, but dense dialogue. Synmar appears to be Rogol Zaar II, but I’ll see how the next issue goes. 4 out of 10.
