Marvel Comics Universe and Marauders #12 Spoilers and Review follows.

Branded As Path To X Of Swords, But Is It Really?

We open with a dramatis personae and storyline catch-up page.

Kitty Pryde, the Red Queen, was killed by Sebastian Shaw, the Black King, but she was resurrected as mutants are nowadays; Wolverine congratulations her on her first resurrection using a crude phrase.

After partying a bit Pryde and Shaw bump into each other…

…with Pryde holding her cards close to her vest.

Since she’s been resurrected her body is pure.

She gets new knuckle tattoos as…

…she’s read to kill Sebastian Shaw.

You can compare the cover to Marauders #12 above to the cover to issue #1.

Hold Fast < Kill Shaw?!

So, no real X of Swords content.

The Pulse:

A trippy issue with up’s and down’s, but pretty engaging. Decent art. Nothing to do with X of Swords despite the billing. 7 out of 10.
