We then open with our first contest…
…which is Magick vs. Pogg Ur Pogg…
…but it turns out not to be a sword fight…
…it’s an arm wrestling contest that the X-Men lose.
Next contest is Wolverine vs…
…Summoner through…
…some weird mindscape that…
…sees Summoner killed, but since it was a battle to the death and Summoner died, the dead man’s team actually wins. Wha?
The next contest is even more incomprehensible and the X-Men win their second one.
As Wolverine and Storm get close…
…Wolverine gets stuck in a battle with Solem and War…
…for Solem with a the winner being whomever maims the other first…
…Wolverine unhands War so Solem wins.
We then end with a checklist with what’s left in the X of Swords event across the Dawn of X titles.

The contests are not all about swords wholly so it is somewhat intriguing. Art was good. 6 out of 10.
