Marvel Comics and Thor #9 Spoilers and Review follows.

Dr. Donald Blake Returns…

…But Is He Hunter Or Prey…

…With Loki As…

…The Voice Of Reason?!

In the past, Thor used to swap bodies with Dr. Donald Blake as a way for Odin, the then King of the Norse gods, to teach his son humility.

We now know where Dr. Donald Blake went…

…when Thor was using their shared body.

It is an idyllic nowhere?!

While when Dr. Donald Blake needed the body Thor got some elder sleep shut-eye to commune with his gods.

Loki will watch over Dr. Donald Blake as Thor triggers their switch, but…

…all is not as it seems.

We then get a bit of a parallel…

…to the idyllic Dr. Donald Blake pages that opened this book…

…but THIS is no longer that place!

The book then pivots to who greets Loki; a very-different mad Dr. Donald Blake who battles and defeats Loki…

…vowing to never be Thor again!

The Pulse:

An unexpected start to this arc, but I am intrigued. Always good when you can’t get ahead of the story. Decent art too. 8 out of 10.
