DC Comics & Suicide Squad #11 Spoilers & Review: What’s Next For Harley Quinn In Wake Of Deadshot’s Death & Series Finale?

Spoilers

DC Comics and Suicide Squad #11 Spoilers and Review follows.

What’s Next For Harley Quinn…

…In Wake Of Deadshot’s Death and…

…Series Finale?

The book opens with Jog returning from the dead as the son of New Gods’ Black Racer of death!

He wants nothing to do with his dad, but…

…instead he wants to save their friends from an explosion…

…as well as the kid that caused it!

Instead of being able to slowly kill Black Mask, who is responsible for this series’ madness from day 1, they only get to maim him a little as the Justice League intervenes…

…they leave with him, but not the Suicide Squad.

Harley Quinn, in her new costume, leaves the team to be with Deadshot’s daughter who…

…she’ll stay for a while to help as Quinn is a psychiatrist.

The book ends with the rest of the team rounding up (well kidnapping really) former heads of Task Force X and…

…telling them that the Suicides Squad is dead, but…

…these Revolutionaries will endure.

The Pulse:

Not my classic Squad line-up in the end, but it looks these Revolutionaries are something different. These 11 issues were entertaining and I hope after Death Metal concludes we get a new Suicide Squad book in keeping with the team’s legacy. Nice touch with Harley and Zoe. 9 out of 10.
