DC Comics and Justice League: Endless Winter #1 Spoilers and Review follows.

Endless Winter Part 1 Sees A New Threat Emerge With…

…A 13th Century Justice League Or Legion Of Doom Debuting?!

The Justice League are dealing a threat that…

…turns out to be a purported to be returning of…

…the Frost King.

He is either allied with or against 13th Century “tricksters” in the form of Black Adam, Hippolyta (Wonder Woman’s mother) and the Viking Prince; no sign of the Viking Commando though. :(

The Frost King easily…

…dispatches the Justice League and…

…disappears.

He has absorbed Kryptonian crystals and is a bit stronger now as the world is under a freeze.

We then pivot the past, the 13th Century, and…

…the formation of the “tricksters”.

The Pulse:

A cliffhanger revealed in the teaser preview within an issue that felt like it was about 15 pages too long. This could be have been a normal length comic book. It is a so-so premise, but it shows promise for a character like Black Adam. 5 out of 10.
