On Monday night’s performance finale of The Voice, finalists Ian Flanigan, Desz, John Holiday, Carter Rubin and Jim Ranger squared off for the final time before the winner is crowned. The contestants were each asked to sing a solo cover and a new song before America voted for a winner. This was a stark change from years past where a holiday duet with their coach was also part of the protocol.
I caught up with all of the contestants as part of a media junket after the episode. There was no red carpet this year because of the pandemic.
