DC Comics and Action Comics #1028 Spoilers and Review follows.

Superboy – Conner Kent and Jon Kent – Get Sorted…

…As Superman Family Is Whole!

Jimmy Olsen is the new owner of the Daily Planet as his family is tied to Lex Luthor’s family…

… so 1/2 the riches are his family’s; Olsen gives Perry White creative control over the Daily Planet, but he still wants a cubicle.

Next, we learn that Conner Kent, a clone of Superman and Lex Luthor, will lose…

…his superpowers one day, but he is remains real despite…

…being tangible evidence from a past incarnation of the DC Universe.

He has a family on this Earth, with Ma and Pa Kent in Smallville and the rest of the House of Kent aka Superman Family.

Superman than has some moments with his son before…

…he heads back to the 31st Century and the Legion of Super-Heroes.

The next issue of Bendis’ LOSH is  Legion of Super-Heroes #12 which has been delayed until December 29 / 30, 2020 or January 19 / 20, 2021 depending on your sources; it was to come out this week and may be Bendis’ last issue on the tile.

LOSH is absent from DC Comics March 2021 solicitations featuring Infinite Frontier, but Jon Kent Superboy is back in modern day it seems.

Anyhow, Action Comics ends like so many issues of Bendis’ run has begun; at Lois Lane’s desk.

The Pulse:

The end of the Brian Michael Bendis era as DC’s Superman showrunner and lead writer. I remain a fan of John Romita Jr’s art, but its more suited to the Batman Family instead of the Superman Family IMHO. A peculiar end that sets up future elements for Infinite Frontier, e.g. boss Jimmy Olsen, etc. 6 out of 10.
