DC Comics Replaces New 52 With New 20 So Far! DC Comics March 2021 Solicitations Spoilers!
In 2011 DC Comics launched its New 52 publishing initiative which included 52 ongoing DC series set in their core super-hero continuity.
In 2021, DC Comics launches its Infinite Frontier publishing initiative which includes 20 DC series, a mix of ongoing series and mini-series, set in their core super-hero continuity.
- Seven Infinite Mysteries Batman Family ongoing series.
- Five Infinite Adventures Justice League group ongoing series.
- Three Infinite Hope Superman Family ongoing series.
- One Infinite Legends ongoing series and one mini-series.
- One-multiverse mini-series and one reframed ongoing series exploring the new multiverse.
- One horror-hero mini-series.
- One upcoming espionage series with deep DC roots.
15 other DC Comics series including under DC Black Label plus Mad Magazine and Looney Tunes, but Scooby Doo is missing. There’s also three Young Adult novels in March 2021. We covered some of that as per the below.
- Six Batman, Joker and Harley Quinn related titles not part of Infinite Frontier.
- Three DC Black Label series focusing on DC history using a diversity lense, a Watchmen icon and a sci-fi icon.
That makes 40 new content from DC Comics in March 2021 plus 18 collected editions including trade paperbacks, hardcovers and omnibi. So, that’s 58 print products from DC Comics in March 2021.
