DC Comics and Justice League: Endless Winter #1 Spoilers and Review follows.

Last New 52 / DC Rebirth Era Justice League Tale….

….Sets Up Black Adam’s Post…

DC Future State Justice League?!

Endless Winter Chapter 9, the mini event’s finale, has…

…the Justice League take on the Frost King directly, but…

…he quickly escapes yet…

…is quickly found.

The Viking Prince / Swamp Thing entity takes on the Frost King as everyone else takes on his frosty forces.

Elsewhere, in the Fortress of Solitude we find the flesh-and-blood Frost King…

…who Black Adam wants to do harm to, but Superman stops him setting up tension between the two that began earlier in the issue.

Aquaman joins the fray with his Molten Men allies…

…as the Frost King is…

…finally defeated.

Black Adam is not happy with how things went down and is scheming.

The book ends with closure on the Frost King story.

He will be frozen likely his family until they can be safely thawed.

Finally, we get a 10th century flashback that shows Black Adam being imprisoned again so that the origin of Shazam story remains intact.

The Pulse:

A mixed bag story with mixed bag art. Liked seeing Black Adam and the Molten Men in this, but nothing else. This issue and the whole “event” was missable. 2 out of 10.
