The Super Sons have travelled to the past and are now trapped by the immortal Vandal Savage and the mage Felix Faust.
The boys are trapped with Faust’s assistant Aurora, but…
…they escape as Superboy was feigning weakness…
…yet they didn’t escape clean as Aurora was awake!
The Super Sons encounter and invisible wall and…
…are greeted by a monster who seems to overmatch them until…
…he/it just vomits them out?!
Turns it it was Aurora who assisted them with the monster sent by Savage and Faust; she is the younger version of the elder ‘Rora who visited the Sons in the present and sent them back in time!
She does want something in return from the Super Sons though.
The Pulse:
Another fun issue, but it’s taking a while to feel like there’s a purpose to the boys’ mission. Art matches tone of story. An entertaining read. 8 out of 10.
