Dead Dog’s Bite – Tyler Boss’s art on Five Kids Walk Into A Bank was incredible, and I’ve been looking forward to this new series he’s written and drawn since it was first solicited.

ENIAC – The new publisher Bad Idea is trying to do things very differently. They are self-distributing their books to a small number of stores, and are insisting on bucking most of the conventions of the comics market. I have no idea if it’s going to work or not, but their first series is by Matt Kindt and Dougie Braithwaite, so I think it’s worth checking out.

Undone By Blood or The Other Side of Eden – I loved the first Undone series, by Thompson, Nadler, and Kivelä. It was a mix of dime store Western and Stray Bullets, and it was great. I’m happy to see that the same creative team is getting together to tell another story, although I imagine it’s not connected to the first other than through the device of having a character read a Western throughout.

I’m also looking forward to new issues of Fear Case, Fire Power, and Hellions.

I’m on the fence about Infinite Frontier and the new Suicide Squad. I really feel distanced from DC these days, and wonder if IF will help me understand it, or just leave me lost. I love the Suicide Squad in theory, although I’ve not ever liked it since John Ostrander left; putting Peacemaker in charge has me interested, because I love his ridiculous helmet.
