Alien – While this property was at Dark Horse, the quality of the comics they put out was wildly inconsistent, but the best of them were really pretty good. There’s a lot of potential in the Alien universe, with its corporate greed and privatized armies, and I’m curious to see where Marvel might take things. I figure it’s worth getting the first arc at least, and then I’ll see how things go.
I’m also looking forward to new issues of Barbalien: Red Planet, Black Panther, Cable, Die! Die! Die!, Dune: House Atreides, Guardians of the Galaxy, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Once & Future, Post Americana, Rain Like Hammers, Scumbag, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, and Year Zero.
I’m curious about Teen Titans Academy, and might give this first issue a shot. I liked the last iteration of the Teen Titans a lot, and am sad to see it ended so soon. Still, the idea of having the former New Teen Titans teaching the next generation has some potential to it.
