DC Comics and The Other History Of The DC Universe #3 Spoilers and  Review follows.

An Asian Lens On Batman and The Outsiders…

…Judas Contract…

…Death Of Superman and More!

DC Comics history from 1983 to 1996 is explored through Katana’s eyes.

Here’s a classic Who’s Who bio of her from the early part of the era explored in this week’s The Other History Of The DC Universe #3.

She was a founding members of…

…Batman and the Outsiders.

Katana witnessed the New Teen Titans betrayal by Terra, sister of her teammate Geo-Force, for Deathstroke.

She with the rest of the Outsiders had enough of Batman and kicked him out of the team he founded.

Which later became another Outsiders incarnation.

Katana also mourned and saw the world mourn the Death of Superman and…

…be confused by his return(s).

The book ends showing all the other teams Katana has been part of, including the Suicide Squad, Justice League, Birds of Prey and more.

However, she always see herself as an outsiders in terms of how society treats “the other” and as a super-heroine.

The Pulse:

Another powerful issue that tries to pierce the Caucasian lens of DC history. Decent art. 7.5 out of 10.
