Will Oa Be Accepted Into The United Planets?

Green Lantern Corps Moves On Without Hal Jordan!

Whose Death Caps It All Off?!

This extra-sized issue opens with the Green Lantern Corps in a firefight in the present and…

…pivots to the past showing…

…Oa attempting to join the United Planets.

We then see some aliens unleash Atmatentrym…

…ravaging the Green Lanterns and their Red Lanterns allies.

At the United Planets council chambers, Sinestro, leader of the Sinestro Corps / Yellow Lantern Corps, head of state for New Korugar, and a former Green Lantern, votes against Oa’s entry into the UP.

Elsewhere, John Stewart learns…

…of the Guardians of the Galaxy’s hand in creating Atmatentrym.

True peace…

…no fighting will defeat it, but leave the Green Lantern Corps drained of power and defenseless.

At the United Planets a vote is to occur on Oa’s entry as…

…someone assassinates a Guardian; they seemingly wanted to release the Starheart?!

The Pulse:

An intriguing issue. Hal Jordan plays no significant role in the issue allowing John Stewart to shine; this is clearly John’s title even with all the other Earth born GLs in it. Loved the United Planets political intrigue. Decent art. 7.5 out of 10.
