DC Comics and Justice League #60 Spoilers and Review follows.

The Shadow Of Black Adam!

Plus Justice League Dark!

We open with a dramatis personae and storyline catch-up page.

Superman tells Naomi of the threat of Brutus, who appears to be related to her people, and…

…at the same time that Black Adam is in the midst of the Justice League; his country was attacked by Brutus so the Justice League and Adam should share resources and cooperate against this threat.

Superman believes Black Adam has changed and should join the Justice League; also, as we’ve seen in his own title, Wally West as the prominent Flash in the Infinite Frontier era, is using the classic Flash costume.

Brutus attacks Amazon Island…

…putting him into conflict with the Queen of the Amazons and Wonder Woman’s mother Hippolyta.

Brutus foreshadows a clash between himself and allies against Hippolyta and the Justice League.

However, she wants nothing to do with Black Adam and…

…leaves, Central City I believe, as Black Adam comments on in the past marveling at her fighting prowess.

To seal the gate that Brutus uses to travel from his world to the Earth the Justice League needs to go there to close it using Naomi’s powers to fuel quite a large cosmic treadmill.

However, when they presumably arrive only Naomi is left standing; where is everyone else?

The back-up feature includes both the Justice League and Justice League Dark in a continuing JLD saga…

…ends with Ragman…

…entering the macabre fray.

The Pulse:

Solid art from front to back from story to story. While I am not tickled by Brutus and Naomi, this roster of the Justice League is intriguing. Black Adam learning to coexist on this team will be a compelling read. The back-up was quite intriguing as well. 8 out of 10.
