DC Comics & The Next Batman: Second Son #10 Spoilers & Review: He’s NOT As Good As He Thinks He Is & He Finds THAT Out Painfully?!

Spoilers

DC Comics and The Next Batman: Second Son #10 Spoilers and Review follows.

He’s NOT As Good As He Thinks He Is and…

…He Finds THAT Out Painfully?!

Looks like Lucius Fox…

…may be a key part of the origins of the Future State’s oppressive Magistrate Program.

We then have lots of talky talky pages until we get to…

…the battle between Jace Fox and the Courier…

…a battle that does end well for the soon-to-be Next Batman, but…

…he gets an assist…

…from an unlikely source.

The Pulse:

In recent issues, Lucius Fox has been the most interesting part of these stories which tough as the series is presumably supposed to set up the Next Batman’s modern day debut. Art was choppy and not to my liking this issue. I did appreciate Jace being humbled in battle, but Katana seemed like an odd choice for the cliffhanger. A so-so issue. 5.5 out of 10.
