DC Comics and Green Lantern #3 Spoilers and Review follows.
Battered, Alone and Undone!
So, Where’s Hal Jordan?
The book opens with John Stewart’s ring flaming out and…
…seemingly having him set to die in space without the Green Lantern ring’s protection.
However, that may have all been a dream of some kind as…
…as a “chemopath” had been fiddling with his mind while…
…he’s on a seemingly new world called Sergilon.
Over the course of 145 days, John Stewart gets acclimatized to this world without his friends from the GLC; he springs to action when their enclave is attacked…
…yet despite his new duds and weapons…
…it’s no match for the armada?!
In the back-up…
…we have Sojourner Mullein giving an update on what’s transpired.
She connects with Simon Baz and…
…Teen Lantern Keli Quintela as readers await Hal Jordan.
The Pulse:
An intriguing issue where the mystery of what’s happened to John Stewart’s away mission and to the those left on Oa continues to unfold. Plus we get the tease of Hal Jordan at the end. Not sure how longstanding fans of the GLC will feel about this issue and their current state of affairs, but this issue was a page turner. 7 out of 10.
