Marvel Comics and Amazing Spider-Man #68 Spoilers and Review follows.
Chameleon Conspiracy Continues…
…A Hobgoblin Returns and…
…A Clairvoyant Is The Prize!
We open with spy Teresa Parker being confronted by the Finisher who killed her parents.
The Chameleon has facilitated their “chat”.
Elsewhere Betty Brant and Ned Leeds meet at Peter Parker’s apartment and Peter is stunned; he thinks Leeds is a clone left over from the Clone Conspiracy arc.
We then get Ned Leeds explaining his Hobgoblin history, tragedies and improbable resurrection. Then the mother to his child Betty Brant tells her story of how their paths intersected.
It looks like as part of a media story Betty Brant has been working on involving the Foreigner and something or someone called the Clairvoyant; well, Peter knows that his friend and former lab partner Jamie who he feels is in trouble so he quickly leaves Ned and Betty at his apartment?!
Looks the like power source they need for the Clairvoyant tech is with the Dr. Curt Conners aka the Lizard who Jamie swipes his all-access pass from.
He then gives to Slyde who is attempting to steal the power sources, but…
…Spider-Man breaks up the party…
…leading to the Foreigner, Chance and army of Jack O’ Lanterns coming to Slyde’s aid.
The Pulse:
An action packed and intriguing issue. It feels like a lot was packed into one issue, but there was no filler. Decent art too. 8 out of 10.
