DC Comics and Detective Comics #1038 Spoilers and Review follows.

Batman and Bruce Wayne On Mr. Worth’s Hitlist While…

…Vile and Penguin Scheme!

Batman tries to reason with Mr. Worth who believes Bruce Wayne killed his daughter and Batman is abetting him.

The fight rages on until Worth sees his daughter!

However, it’s just Lady Clayface, a tragic figure in her own right, as Sarah.

Father is even more enraged as a result of this.

Later, in the media, Worth says he’s going after Wayne and Batman; this prompts a viewing Penguin to decide to answer Worth’s call the next time he reaches out.

Later, the Mayor’s staffer Hue Vile, really the villain Vile who killed Sarah Worth and others, has a plan to hatch with Worth.

It involves kidnapping reporter Deb Donavan and…

…using her as bait.

Batman and Huntress get to her, but were they too late?

The back-up story elaborates on the Penguin subplot.

The Pulse:

A rip roaring ride in the main story with a complementary back-up. Decent art on both. 7 out of 10.
