DC Comics and Green Arrow 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1 Spoilers and Review follows.

Justice Society Of America (JSA) Story Reveals Origin Of Green Arrow’s Must Iconic Arrow! Plus Batman Cameo?!

There’s a lot of stories in this one-shot.

The first one I thought was powerful was a story by one-time Earth 2 creative team focusing on Green Arrow and JSA’s Wildcat.

There’s also a cool Batman cameo at the beginning for a story before we get into the trials of Oliver Queen.

Ted Grant aka Wildcat is trying to teach Queen how to fight and the latter is distracted by his girlfriend Black Canary aka Dinah Drake.

You can’t fight all villains from 20 feet away.

Despite not being fully trained in hand-to-hand combat, Wildcat and Green Arrow are attacked by Yellow Wasp…

…who knocks out Wildcat forcing…

…Green Arrow to improvise a boxing glove arrow.

An arrow that became a stable in his quiver.
