Spoilers

Marvel Comics and  Giant-Size Amazing Spider-Man Chameleon Conspiracy #1 Spoilers and Review follows.

It Has All Been Building To THIS!

Teresa Parker, Hobgoblin, Kindred, Silver Sable and More…

…On Road To Sinister War!

We open with a brief history of the Hobgoblin and the…

…surprise return of Ned Leeds; is real or a clone from the Clone Conspiracy event of olde?

Also, it appears all the Jack O’ Lanterns and costumed villains are Chameleons except for one; perhaps the OG Jack O’ Lantern?

Elsewhere, Teresa Parker, super spy sister of Peter Parker is…

…is learning about the Finisher’s, um, finishing school for Chameleons; spies across the world…

…including Teresa Parker?!

Finisher will share Teresa’s real past with her if she procures the Clairvoyant device for him.

Elsewhere, the Foreigner floating casino is about to crash, but Ned, Jamie and Spider-Man…

…help avert disaster.

Jamie gives up his Clairvoyant device willingly as he never intended for it to be the focus of so many villains.

Ned Leeds also heads out to his partner Betty Brant who is pregnant with his child.

The book ends with Spider-Man giving the Clairvoyant to his sister…

…who struggles over who she really is…

…until she doesn’t; she is or will be Teresa Parker a good guy who destroys the Clairvoyant.

The book ends with a few storylines closing or set up including…

…Silver Sable stealing Foreigner’s monies and his hiring of Taskmaster and Black Ant.

Plus, the Chameleon…

…confronted by Kindred; is he really Harry Osborn or another Chameleon?

The book also teases…

…the continued set-up for Sinister War.

Next up is Sinister War Prelude in Amazing Spider-Man #70 in stores next week on July 7, 2021 followed by Sinister War #1 on shelves on July 14, 2021.

The Pulse:

A fun and action-packed issue from front to back. A mixed bag artist wise with the different styles not making for smooth transition. The Teresa Parker and Kindred moments were my faves of the one-shot.  7 out of 10.
