WWE Smackdown Continues To Be WWE’s Top Brand As BIG Summer Slam 2021 Returns Of Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar Shake Up Team Blue!

After Sasha Banks was legitimately not cleared for her match against WWE Smackdown Womens Champion Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch returned and won the title in a squash match.
The main event saw Roman Reigns retain his WWE Universal Championship by defeating John Cena; Reigns was then confronted by Brock Lesnar with a cowering Paul Heyman, former advocate of Lesnar’s, leaving with Reigns.
Clearly, more to come on these two major developments on the upcoming August 27, 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown on Fox.
There is some Raw news as Samoa Joe won the NXT Championship from Karrion Kross at the weekend’s NXT TakeOver 36 (full results here) making him NXT’s first ever 3-time NXT Champion; Kross is expected to be a full-time Raw competitor going forward, but stay tuned to this week’s Raw on Monday and NXT on Tuesday for more on Kross’ future.
