DC Comics & Titans United #1 Spoilers & Review:
Why?
The debut issue kicking of this seven issue mini-series also has…
…two variant covers above and below.
The story seems involve ordinary people…
…causing extraordinary damage even…
…super-powers mimicking or…
…theft?!
Our no-longer ordinary person…
…explodes in the arms of Kon-el Superboy…
…who falls back to Earth in a panel reminiscent of the classic Death and Return of Superman arc.
He’s alive, and…
…the team finds out who that ordinary guy they fought was only…
…to be called for help by Washing DC’s Hawk and Dove battling a now extraordinary Kite-Man?!
You may wonder why this set of heroes are teams in comics; it is because this virtually the roster of DC’s live-action HOB Max Titans series now streaming its third season.
The Pulse:
I really wanted to like this issue as I am long-time Titans fan, enjoy the concept of legacy and sidekicks coming into their own, as well as being a HUGE fan of Hawk and Dove since their inception. However, the art was not great here nor was the story, particularly the threat, compelling. It’s also anyone’s guess if this fits into Infinite Frontier continuity. Covers were ok though. 3.5 out of 10.
