Spoilers, Top Story

DC Comics and The Flash #775 Spoilers and Review follows.

MAJOR Villain Returns Shadow As…

…JSA Icon Recruits Wally West, But For What?!

A mystical or alien staff is embedded in the street and not even Superman can remove it.

The staff seems to bring out the worst in people not just for humans, but for meta-humans as well; the Injustice Society can’t remove or claim the staff either.

Flash believes covering the staff may dull its effects.

He’s right and the Injustice Society leave with the effects of the staff gone.

However, the solution doesn’t last and…

…the city is eclipsed by it and the nasty behaviors resurface.

In addition, the Flash is greeted by…

…an alien named Starbreaker who…

…plans to claim the staff which…

…he does, but…

…all is not as it seems and Eclipso has now taken control if him.

The Flash and Eclipso kibitz…

…as Eclipso leaves, but promises to be back with a vengeance literally.

The book ends with…

…the Flash recruited by Doctor Fate?!

The Pulse:

An action-packed issue with cool moments. Nice to see Eclipse back in the comic books and not just featured in CW’s Stargirl Season 2. I found some of Wally West’s portrayal as juvenile for a dad, but we’ll see if that portrayal lasts. 7 out of 10.
