Marvel Comics & United States Of Captain America #5 Spoilers & Review: 9 Captain Americas Unite!

Spoilers

Marvel Comics and United States Of Captain America #5 Spoilers and Review follows.

9 Captain Americas Unite!

The book has naturally one main cover above and two variant covers below.

In addition to the OG Captain America Steve Richards, John Walker USAgent, Bucky Barnes Winter Soldier and Sam Wilson Falcon – all who have been Captain America before – here are the five new Caps.

The 4 OGs get some help from the Captains Network to take down the villains and get Captain America’s shield back.

They do and Captain America invites the new Caps to speak during his public address.

A new era has dawned.

The book ends on an optimistic note.

One where any kid can see themselves in and even aspire to be like Captain America.

Captain America’s next series is one with Avengers teammate Iron Man whose debut issue, Captain America / Iron Man #1 (of 5) lands in stores on November 24, 2021.

Also, with the 80th Anniversary of Captain America celebrations underway, I wanted to share what was my fave such celebratory variant cover from earlier this year by Iban Coello and Alejandro Sanchez for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #28.

The Pulse:

An interesting mini-series that expanded the world and characters in that world of the Sentinel of Liberty. Not what I expected, but it did have solid art. 6.5 out of 10.
