Lucks like Grodd is Gregg’s uncle.
Grodd is using Gregg to boost his mental powers towards the goal of ruling humanity.
Gregg does not want what Grodd wants.
Gregg is also a mental heavyweight and…
…appears to rival Grodd…
…able to dupe him, release the citizens from his control, and defeat him.
Gregg still loves his uncle…
…who escapes from jail to end the issue.
The Pulse:
The art was the strength of the issue with the interactions and drama between uncle and nephew strong on story. Many of the other TTA members remain faceless and unexplored; some even uninspiring. Surprised no Red X or Shazam in this issue; they clearly are the most appealing teens. 6 out of 10.
