WWE Bloodbath 2021 Wave 5 Sees Raw, Smackdown and NXT Firings Reach 80 Including Several Former Champions!
Here are the updates for 2021 so far.
- Wave 1 saw 12 superstars fired.
- Wave 2 saw 18 superstars and officials fired.
- Wave 3 saw 15 superstars fired.
- Wave 4 saw 15 more superstars fired.
WWE continued its culling of WWE wrestlers, coinciding with their Q3 update; 18 superstars (ages added where known below) from across Raw, Smackdown, NXT and the executive suite have been released.

That’s 19 departures this week in addition to other non wrestling talent, but WWE staff that have been released over the last several months; it is likely that the actual WWE departures exceed 100 for 2021.
Of this week’s WWE superstars releases it is being reported that 1 to 5 were released due to their Covid-19 vaccine status with only Nia Jax’s name reported on as an unvaccinated former roster member.
