Robin and Batman – Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen did an incredible job together on their series Descender and Ascender, which is at its core, a comic about a boy and his robot brother, after the boy has grown up. That they are telling a story about Batman and Robin’s early days, from Robin’s perspective, seems to fit with this. I love Nguyen’s art, so this should be nice.

What’s the Furthest Place From Here? – Before he started writing some pretty mediocre stuff at Marvel, Matthew Rosenberg showed a lot of promise at Black Mask. Now he’s collaborating with the incredible Tyler Boss on a new series, and I’m very excited to see it. Their Four Kids Walk Into a Bank was amazing. I have no idea what this series is about about, and am sick of titles like this, but I’m all in for this one. Boss is incredible.

This week I’m also looking forward to new issues of Alien, A Righteous Thirst For Vengeance, Eternals, Hellions, Mazebook, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Stillwater, The Unbelievable Unteens, Undiscovered Country, and Vampirella.

I’m also thinking of picking up Action Comics and giving it a try, now that Superman and the Authority have left Earth. I like the writer’s work on Alien, and it’s got me thinking about giving up on my usual Superman embargo…

So, what did you pick up?
