An Iron Ant-Man Assembles?!

The book includes a storyline set-up and creators credits page.

We open on Earth 818 and a dying Odin bequeathing Mjolnir to the person who will avenge his death.

Then we meet Ant-Man who is Tony Stark, Earth 616’s Iron Man, but 818’s Ant-Man.

He finds, is able to life and shrink that Mjolnir, presumably adding to his collection of artifacts?

Then we see the Punisher War Machines of the Black Skull descend…

…yet instead of finding Ant-Man they encounter Ghost Rider, recently of 616’s Avengers, and a Deathlok who…

…free Black Skull’s prisoners.

However, that liberated prisoners convey is confronted by Black Skull personally and more of his forces.

We then catch-up with Ant-Man who brought Mjolnir to his lair which also has some of his super-heroic friends there.

The book ends between the universes of the multiverses where…

…where we have a trios of (Thor) Odindaughters on a quest?!

The Pulse:

An interesting opening issue that introduces some of this series’ players and Earth 818. Plot was a bit convoluted at times, but the character moments and the cliffhanger made up for that a bit. Decent art. 6.5 out of 10.
