Alligator came out during that time when Hollywood discovered that giant mutant creatures could eat people. The movie quickly gained a following with the fear of what happened to all those pet alligators that were mailed across America from ads in the back of comic books. Where did they go when moms flushed them down the toilets? In this case, they didn’t go too far, but they grew out of control as they lurked in the sewer system. The film is getting upgraded to 4K UHD with a mouthful of bonus features including the television version. Here’s the press release from Scream Factory with all the details: |
