Demythifying Star Wars: Book Of Boba Fett’s Evil Wookie Bounty Hunter Black Krrsantan! A Complete On-Panel Marvel Comics Chronology!

Comic Book Chronology Revealed!

Much like the debut of Baby Yoda aka Grogu took Star Wars fandom and pop culture by storm in The Mandalorian so has Black Krrsantan with The Book of Boba Fett. A big difference between the two is that Grogu first appeared in the Disney Plus series while Krrsantan (as he has been referred to onscreen) debuted in Marvel Comics’ Star Wars: Darth Vader #1 in February 2015.

He is a black haired Wookie, the same species as the most famous Wookie the brown haired Chewbacca, but has disgraced his people, is motivated by money, has partnered with Boba Fett in the past as a bounty hunting team.

Krrsantan even took on Chewbacca in the comics.

From by digging it appears that Black Krrsantan has a fairly decent comic book footprint in his seven years of existence:

  • 43 comic book appearance from 2015 – 2021;
  • 15 trade paperback covering those appearances and more issues for more complete stories;
  • 1 hardcover covering an appearance and more.

I’ve chronicled them below as well as the corresponding collected editions, which may include other stories, but gives you a complete story as the single issues, particularly the early ones, are blowing up on eBay.
