32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

The book opens with a storyline catch-up and creators credits page.

The book opens with Ben Reilly and a therapist of Beyond Corporation.

We learn that he doesn’t trust the Beyond Corporation and we also learn he told her girlfriend Janine the same surreptitiously.

The therapist reveals she doesn’t trust Beyond Corporation either and believes her salary and contract allow her to be an independent thinker which spying Beyond exec Maxine Danger scoffs at wondering how she could have believed her about her independence.

We also see how Maxine Danger threated Janine in the recent past.

We also learn that the Beyond Corporation knows Ben Reilly is a clone, but…

…he may not as they played with his mind.

However, Reilly tells the therapist of the files Doctor Octopus stole from Beyond…

…what they revealed, but before he can really spill Danger strikes literally.

Looks like Reilly will have his memories wiped again?!

At the same time Janine makes her play.

In the memory wipe process, Ben Reilly seems to trigger something Beyond hadn’t expected?!

The Pulse:

A bit of a confusing dialogue-heavy issue. Light on action, but big on intrigue. Decent art. I am eager to read the next issue. 7 out of 10.
