New Ongoing DC Comic Book Series Launches During Black History Month in February 2022!
Aquamen, a new ongoing comic book series by the creative team of Chuck Brown, Brandon Thomas, Sami Basri and Adriano Lucas, will launch out of the conclusions of Aquaman: The Becoming and Black Manta in February 2022!
Written by Chuck Brown and Brandon Thomas with art by Sami Basri and Adriano Lucas, Aquamen #1 arrives on February 22! The debut issue of the ongoing new series will have a cover by Travis Moore and Adriano Lucas (above), card stock variant covers by both Kael Ngu (Arthur Curry) and Nick Robles (Jackson Hyde), a 1:25 ratio variant cover by Jim Lee and Alex Sinclair and a Black History Month variant cover by Alexis Franklin (below).

When a suicide bomber in Middle America is revealed as an Atlantean sleeper agent seemingly gone rogue, the Aquamen—Arthur Curry and Jackson Hyde—are on the case. Arthur Curry, Jackson Hyde, Garth (Tempest) and David Hyde (Black manta) appear to be the Aquamen who face off with another Aquaman, but a villain, in Curry’s brother Orm Marius (Ocean Master). Tula (Aquagirl), Mera (Aquawoman?) and baby Andy Curry also appear to be part of the series. Looks like 2022 may see Aquaman – all of them – and the Aqua-Family get their due.
