Unexpected heroes arrive to help the Flash in his final confrontation with Eclipso. Can Wally West move fast enough to save the universe? Find out in part three of “the Eclipso War!”

Wally West’s kids with Animal Man’s daughter free him, but…

…the threat of Eclipso requires dangerous alliances.

As Eclipso makes his moves…

…Wally West with is family and allies…

…make there’s!

Good guys win…

…which captures the attention of the Judeo-Christian God’s spirit of vengeance or somesuch.

The book ends with father healing his son’s pain by augmenting his powers with “The Surge” that the Speed Force gave him; that may well be his son’s new codename too; so Jai West will be Surge and Irey West, his twin sister, will remain Impulse?

The book ends with Wally’s wife, and his kids’ mom, looking for her family and seemingly realizing she now has speed powers too?!

The Pulse:

Enjoying Wally West back as the Flash anchoring a title. The family dynamic feels fresh, but it’s clearly a very different title than fans clamored for from days gone by. In this case different is good or at least growing on me. Emotional storytelling as well that complements the action. The art was solid. 8 out of 10.
