Uatu is not able to convince his fellow Watchers to abandon their watching vow against the Reckoning a multiversal threat they had a hand in propagating.

The book ends on Asgard as a prone Galactus sees the Destroyer merge with him…

…then manipulated by the Silver Surfer, as Thor watches on, to take on the Reckoning!

The Pulse:

I’m still not hooked by this tale and I was expecting something more encompassing of other titles due to the billing of Reckoning War as an event, but am glad it’s contained. Will see what the next issue holds. The Watchers’ struggle is intriguing as was the Destroyer and Galactus merger into something even more powerful. Art was solid. 6.5 out of 10.
