It should be noted that Marvel has been teasing the debut of Titan, a new persona of the Hulk, for months in the series itself as well as on the cover to next month’s Hulk #6.
That’s relevant context for this week’s Hulk #5.
So, Bruce Banner needs more juice so amps up to STAGE FIVE: GODS to get Hulk riled up with more power.
It works, but then the Betty Ross persona in Bruce Banner’s head / starship takes over and puts Hulk to STAGE SIX: DEMONS.
That works, but Hulk may need more juice to deal with a gaggle of Abominations.
Seems, Betty Ross may be controlled by the new persona Titan.
She/he/it seems to dispense with Bruce Banner and moves past STAGE SEVEN and STAGE EIGHT all the way to STAGE NINE, but they are all unnamed perhaps until next issue?

Hulk #1 revealed STAGE ONE: INFINITE ARMIES.
Hulk #2 revealed STAGE TWO: MONSTERS.
It was quite the assortment of kaiju.
Hulk #2 also revealed STAGE THREE: GIANT WOLVERINE.
That was a pretty cool battle.
However, Hulk prevailed.
Hulk #4 revealed STAGE FOUR: MARVEL ZOMBIES.
That power level had the desired effect of increasing Hulk’s power.
And, as noted, this issue with Hulk #5 revealed STAGE FIVE: GODS and STAGE SIX: DEMONS with STAGE NINE, the current power level that Titan skipped over Seven and Eight to, likely being revealed in Hulk #6.
