THE BIG FINALE OF “BEYOND”!!! SPIDER-MAN VS. SPIDER-MAN! You may surprise yourself with who you’re rooting for. Don’t miss the conclusion to one of the most surprising Spider-Stories of the past decade.

Ben Reilly is on a tear after Maxine Danger he head of the Beyond Corporation and responsible for his mind wipe.

She explains he knew the risks of the procedure, which seems disingenuous  since it appeared to have been done as a punitive measure against him, but there are no back-up’s of his memories.

However, she gave him a device that can pull the memories from the original host which is Peter Parker the Amazing Spider-Man.

Peter Parker joins Ben Reilly at Beyond Corporation to help take them down, but Reilly now wants him to put on the device willingly or not.

Peter won’t do it and Ben forces the issue.

The battle goes over a few pages at the end of which Peter destroys the device devastating Ben.

Ben bloodies Peter in a rage.

As the Beyond Corporation crumbles around them Ben Reilly falls into quantum-shifting polymers in a psycho-reactive medium.

He doesn’t die, but he does appear to die in the liquid before taking on a new persona, possibly new powers and most likely as either a villain or, at best, an anti-hero, but he appears not to be a hero.
