The War for Earth-3 may be over, but the battle at home is only heating up! As egos clash, bugs ambush, and a big-#$% parademon tries to eat his own teammates, an explosive confrontation between Peacemaker and Bloodsport will leave you breathless! As Ambush Bug would say: “HELP! I’M TRAPPED IN SOLICIT COPY!”

The book opens with a summary out what happened in the War for Earth event involving this series, Teen Titans Academy and the Flash (Wally West).

All Suicide Squad members, not part of Amanda Waller’s Justice Squad, are returned to Belle Reve Penitentiary on Earth 0 including Rick Flag and his insurgent Suicide Squad.

Talon finally dies while Culebra still needs a new body.

Looks like the Suicide Squad is no longer funded, sponsored or has Amanda Waller at its helm which means its time for an extreme cleansing by the United States government.

Bloodshot is obsessed with the multiverse…

…Mirror Master may have found Culebra her new body.

Rick Flag now operates the penniless Suicide Squad as mercenaries which…

…have a big score planned to solidify their future.

They plan to kidnap Lex Luthor and, maybe, shake him down for funding?!

Next up is the series finale in Suicide Squad #15 in stores in May 3, 2022.

FINAL ISSUE! Through space and alternate Earths, this version of the Squad has tried to free themselves from Waller’s clutches. In the series finale, they risk everything for freedom one last time.

The end is nigh.

The Pulse:

An intriguing issue, but am curious if we’ll see Amanda Waller’s Earth 3 Justice Squad, with members of her former Suicide Squad from Earth 0 in the finale issue or in the Dark Crisis event to come. Lots of action and intrigue this issue that is rendered beautifully to boot. Compelling cliffhanger. 8 out of 10.
