The Eclipso War left Wally West stopped dead in his tracks…but a brand-new villain has emerged to wreak havoc on the Scarlet Speedster! An exciting new story arc begins here!

Second question first: Who Is Flush Man?

Wally West the Flash encourages Wallace West the Kid Flash aka Ace to go with him to Argentina to sample ice cream from a shop going under. While there, the Flash is referred to as Flush Man and readers are encouraged to google “Flush Man Argentina” and naturally we did and got the below.

Looks like Wally West’s 1987 Flash series was called Flush Man in Argentina for some reason and now that nickname is canon in Earth 0’s Argentina! The North American cover is provided below for comparison.

Anyhow back to 2022 and the Flash #781.

As part of an issue focused on the bonding of Flash and Kid Flash comes a trip around the globe including Skartaris aka Warlord’s home at the center of the Earth.

Here’s a classic map of Skartaris.

Well, looks like the Legion of Doom’s Hall of Doom, from classic 1970’s SuperFriends TV lore, is derelict in Skartaris.

Here’s a map of the classic Hall of Doom.

Their globetrotting also includes classic Chicago pizza in Chicago…

…where they’re attacked by classic Flash villain Girder who…

…gets two Flashes for the price of one!

The Pulse:

A fun breather issue that sheds light on both “Wally Wests” in DC and Flash lore. No new villain emerges as teased, but perhaps next issue. An entertaining and fun issue with electric art. 8.5 out of 10.
