The women of the X-Men are heading for the hottest action in the galaxy…Gameworld! But if it’s true that the house always wins, our X-Ladies might be in over their heads…

On Mojo’s Gameworld the X-Ladies are trying to prevent Earth’s destruction in a cosmic game of chance, but Wolverine is cornered by Cordyceps who pollutes her with some kind of fungus.

Then, on Earth, we have some blatant Avengers disrespect for Sunfire and the X-Men/

Still on Earth, Captain Krakoa and Synch are looking for Doctor Stasis.

They find one of his experiments who is disposing of bodies of other experiments, but Synch disposes of him/it quite literally.

Next up, is Jean Grey on Gameworld…

…interfering in the Earth threatening game when…

…a fungus corrupted Wolverine is ready to throw down with her!

Back on Earth, Captain Krakoa sheds his façade to reveal his true self as Cyclops who…

…was tracked down Dr. Stasis with a fight ensuing and…

…Dr. Stasis unmasked as a clone (presumably) of Mister Sinister?!

He was also featured on a Jim Lee inspired X-Men Trading Card variant cover last issue.

Looks like the tease for the next issue reveals that X-Men #12 will reveal Dr. Stasis’ secret origin.

The Pulse:

A fast-paced and dynamic issue. Despite the various parallel plots, the issue flowed and hung well together. Solid art. A very entertaining read. 8 out of 10.
