FIGHT! Batman Inc. versus the League of Shadows versus the Secret Society! Deathstroke versus Talia…and only one will walk away from the fight alive! Robin knows the truth behind Ra’s al Ghul’s death and races to stop the Shadow War!

As Deathstroke Inc. aka the Secret Society of Super-Villains battles Talia Al Ghul’s League of Shadows, Deathstroke and Talia wage war on each other.

Batman thinks its too dangerous for his son Damian Wayne aka Robin to continue on this adventure, but Robin has an other idea on his mind.

Son forces father to let me be part of the battle as…

…Angel Breaker reveals a connection to Ghost-Walker who are on opposite sides of this skirmish.

While this confrontation was promised elsewhere and didn’t deliver in the slightest, we also see Robin learn that his half-brother ReSpawn had died by their mother’s hand (their father’s were different; Batman vs Deathstroke quite literally).

Speaking of Talia Al Ghul, she calls herself a Dragon as she kills Deathstroke?!

Everyone believes Slade Wilson is dead and the faux Deathstroke, whose murder of Ra’s Al Ghul ignited the Shadow War, reveals himself.

A quite literal reveal; an unmasking.

It’s former Batman and the Outsiders’ Geo-Force and brother to former Teen Titans’ Terra who has a long history with Deathstroke!

The Pulse:

Didn’t see that end coming. I’m a long-time Geo-Force fan and am perplexed by his villainous turn. That said, a very satisfying read before next week’s event conclusion. Solid art. 8 out of 10.
