Jules Verne’s novels have been an influence on movies and TV shows over the decade. The 19th Century French writer created science fiction which has become a touch real over time. Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water is a Japanese anime that aired in 1990. The show gave a touch of Verne’s past in its’ depiction of life in 1889. The series proved to be a big hit.
