POWER GRAB!

TARN THE UNCARING waged war and torture on Arakko for centuries. He’s the most hated being on Mars…and he sits on their ruling council. ABIGAIL BRAND has a plan to remedy that — and reap the rewards. So does ROBERTO DA COSTA. But only one of them can win…and Tarn’s going to make at least one mutant pay the price for it!

Cable is resurrected thanks to the Five and is immediately confronted by…

…Thunderbird who still harbors resentment over Cable recruiting his brother Warpath into X-Force in days gone by.

However, there focus is to be on what to do about Abigail Brand and S.W.O.R.D. aka X-Men Red!

She and Storm ate having a heated tête-à-tête that ends when Storm, leader of the Brotherhood, says it ends.

Then we have Storm conspiring with Magneto to take out Tarn to replace him on Arakko’s Council.

An emotional Magneto is noncommittal.

Later, Tarn and Vulcan fight in a gladiator style tournament.

Surprisingly, Tarn makes short work of the former all-powerful Emperor Vulcan.

Isca the Unbeaten kills Sunspot in the stands as Storm rages over it.

Magneto does indeed challenge Tarn after he defeated Vulcan.

Magneto wins quickly with minimal effort and Tarn is seemingly dead with his place on the Council now belonging to Magneto?!
