THE FLYING GRAYSON FLIES THROUGH TIME!

The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel might have been victorious in their battle against the dreaded Devil Nezha (but were they, though? More on that to come, kids…) but there’s one thing they forgot in all the madness…Dick! Robin the Boy Wonder is lost in time like some kind of chrono-Home Alone…and to find him, Batman and Superman will need to get creative!

Looks like Batman’s first Robin, Dick Grayson, is stuck in the past.

1892 in Corto Maltese with a circus, as its in his blood, and solving a mystery and violence that everyone blames the lion on, but all is not as it seems.

We then get a bit of flashforward to somehow try to explain, not well, how Superman and Batman travel into the past.

In fact, we then flashback to 1892 where Batman joins Robin on the trapeze.

Superman in turn becomes the circus strongman.

It all buys Robin some time to determine the lion was innocent and it’s the circus owner that was behind the circus shenanigans.

The book ends with the mystery solved and Superman, Batman and Robin ready to return to modern times.

Old friends Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent share a moment together asking: At what point does Gotham not need a Batman anymore? As Batman’s investigation around Gotham leads him to encounter more and more demonic beings, the one thing they all have in common is…they’re all people he fights to keep off the streets and behind bars. But when Two-Face appears asking Batman for help, is he friend or foe? And is whatever’s going on with Batman already too late to do anything about?…Is he the detective or the devil?

Looks like Harvey Dent, still physically scarred, but allegedly mentally healed, has a new look for his new non Two-Face persona.

Bruce Wayne asks his one-time friend what is going on in Gotham City’s underworld to which Dent replies he doesn’t know as that’s not his life anymore.

On a ship heading into Gotham City we learn more about the ancestral Arkham clam claim on the City including a deed.

There smore mysticism then mental trauma behind the Arkham lineage.

That music box dangerously complicates the mystical goings on.

Batman, after striking out with Harvey Dent, seeks advice from foe the Maestro who complicates matters emotionally for the Dark Knight as it relates to the mystical music box.

We then get a tease of Dark Nights Metal’s bat-villain Barbatos as Harvey Dent is kidnapped and poisoned by the Arkham crowd with dibs on Gotham City.

However, was Harvey Deny feigning his mental exorcism from Two-Face?
